RAVE Emergency Alerts — also called RAVE Alert — is Butte County’s public safety mass notification system, powered by Smart911. It’s used by first responders to send urgent, life-saving information to residents during critical events like wildfires, evacuations, severe weather, or other emergencies.
When you sign up, you create a free Smart911 profile that includes your contact information (phone, email, address) and any other relevant safety details (like medical conditions or special needs). First responders can use that information to better protect you in a crisis
